    I pmed you bai hehehe.

Anyway, I think the problem is the video card, its not processing or decoding properely kay dili niya kaya. Correct me if I am wrong pero Geforece MX400 ba iyang chipset, sak2 ba? The new video cards of Nvidia have the "Purevideo" technology, which assist in post processing the video. ATI also has their AVIVO technology which does the same, but more efficiently saving you processor power.

ey Ryan, are you familiar with connecting HTPC's to LCD TV?

I have a question w/ connecting the DVI out sa PC to an HDMI port sa Philips 37" LCD w/c is 1080p na.

Question is... will I be able to drive the LCD TV at 1920x1080 using a DVI-HDMI cable?

I've read around for reviews and have found conflicting answers...some say you can.. others say 1280x1024 ra ang max res. (even the manual sa Philips states 1280x1024 max res for PC connection) maybe uve experienced doing this na... Its better to get someone's first hand experience on this.

With DVI to HDMI yes you can if your TV cant support it. Dont look at the "max res for PC connection" coz it means a connection using VGA not HDMI.
If you TV can support it, and you video card can support it (ATI 3xxxx series, ATI 2xxxx series or Nvidia 8xxxx series akong ma recommend with priority to first)

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I'll be using r X1900GT rev2, 3850 512mb or 8800GT 512mb on it.

I called the service center sa Philips... their technicians didnt have a clue on whether its possible or not.. hehe

    THanks for your help!

@Michbern... yeah.. nag experiment na ko with Powerstrip karon pero when use the Nvidia Control panel to set a custom resolution.. it prompts me to test the res before appying it... unya It gives me the report "Cutom mode test failed"I

... maybe it needs to connect to the LCD TV for those settings to work.

Anyway.. I dont know why mu error sya cos im running at a slightly higher res than 1920x1080.... running at 1920x1200 on a Dell 2405)
