how about allied telesyn/telesis? japanese manufacturer, any feedback?
Allied telesyn from singapore. very ok!!! of course...just configure it right to avoid hi cpu utilization, i activated more than 20 units 9900 series here in cebu. we use it as aggregators in distribution layers. it's a layer 3 switch... experienced very minor problem, d like of using some SPTX from other manufacturer that can't sync in auto speed, u have to force it to 1000mfull port speed. no problem in vlan, tagging/untagging, very straight-forward commands in cli and gui.Originally Posted by deepsix
