prostitution is still a morality issue, either separately for church or state.

It [prostitution] will remain as a morality issue if or when a state or government becomes subordinate or easily yields to the views of a particular religion or church.

The state (being the highest institution of the country) does not need to seek the imprimatur of the church to determine the moral aspects of a policy.

Human trafficking != prostitution. Get your facts straight. In the Netherlands, where prostitution is legalized, taxed, and regulated, they are very much against human trafficking, child prostitution and forced labor. Even regular patrons are encouraged to report instances of hookers 'not enjoying the act' to the local authorities, as they may be indications of forced labor.
