    how about allied telesyn/telesis? japanese manufacturer, any feedback?

    Allied telesyn from singapore. very ok!!! of course...just configure it right to avoid hi cpu utilization, i activated more than 20 units 9900 series here in cebu. we use it as aggregators in distribution layers. it's a layer 3 switch... experienced very minor problem, d like of using some SPTX from other manufacturer that can't sync in auto speed, u have to force it to 1000mfull port speed. no problem in vlan, tagging/untagging, very straight-forward commands in cli and gui.

    For me...LINKYS..gigamit namo sa amo PC mga 80 plus nga unit unya wala gyud palong palong 24/7 ang trabaho..mga 7 years
    na gadagan..wala pa gyud me kailis..
    Wala sad ko ka try sa uban kay pag first mao naman gud ni amo gamit..

    Allied Telesyn Router is called Rapier... very ok pud
