bantayan is a nice place and it also have some resorts that could provide water activities but considering its location, if you would want somewhere nearer, theres a lot in mactan like maribago, shangri la and plantation bay..

Bantayan Island - approximately 4 hours from cebu City, okay lang ang accommodations, nice beach, not very expensive

Malapascua Island - approx. 4 hours from cebu City, okay lang pud ang accommodation, a diving spot, beach is a combination of corals and white sand, not very expensive

Shnagrila Resort Hotel - 5-star resort
Plantation Bay - 5-star resort
Maribago Blue-waters - 3-star resort

Alegre Beach Resort - around 2 hours from Cebu Cuty - 5-star resort

Sumilon Island - around 3 hours from Cebu City - 5-star accommodation

i have heard na nice pod daw sa Malapascua but in going there ky dagko kuno ug waves? how true? some of them are bringing their family along and naa kids. is it safe for the little ones?

indeed nice bya shangrila but very expensive...perti bya ka ubos sa dollar ron, so i wud not expect them to embrace such idea. hehehehe! but thanks sa suggestion.

been to nalusuan!! nice na siya..last tuesday lang kai moalboal me!! white sand sad..nice au!! and next week camotes is. me..heard na its a nice place daw!! aheheheh

that i will try to see sa web. any travel agent that covers both accomodations and travel in going there? is it rue white sands or abuno lang like shangrila and Plantation?

they will be going to bohol after Cebu. they planned some iteneraries over there too. after visayas, they will go to davao. so mao concentrate sa ko cebu ky adto man abot didto tanan.

sometimes waves really get wild/big in going to malapascua, to be safe travel in the morning, mas calm ang waves and be sure nga dili mag-over passenger ang boat nga inyo sakyan,,,,..mga two years nako wala ka adto sa malapascua, nahugaw man gud ang island, den mura gi-limpyohan sa government, just heard nga open na pud for public ang island....
