Anybody knows how to RDC(remote desktop connection) with meridian?
do we need to connect sa ilang radio (transmitter) to add 3389 sa config?
any idea.. kinsa naka experience...? TY
waaaaa, kadaghan ba gud problema aning meridianunsa pa man lain ports ila gi-close
limited ra diay asa ta maka d/l ug stuff
? shyet!
actually wala man sila nag close ug port, ingana gyud na kay behind a router man ta just like what rightdrue said
alternative is get a static IP which would mean getting their business/commercial package...If we are behind a server/router that shares the internet connection, in which the router or server holds the public ip, then the server/router should be configured to allow port forwarding to the hosts or ip of the server.
In this case meridian has the server/router giving us our dynamic private ip. Will they allow port forwarding? I greatly doubt.
hala naunsa mani akong connection??

tech support of this isp address problems in a wrong manner. they must take training(s)Originally Posted by darkwing

I now understand why we cant have our protocols running such as remote desktop, ftp, web servers etc. because we are behind meridian router.
I have also noticed that my IP since we started with this isp stays the same!
yeah, although kabalo nako nganong dili gyud pwede, ni explain unta ilang Tech Support sad, pero I think that the person who first receives the call is just the 1st Level, kung magkalisod na gyud naa tingali sila 2nd LEvel na i ask, mao tingali i pahold ka nila for several minutes...
