The notion that the supernatural is a far more superior form of malignance - for instance we want it to be the punks causing the mischief upstairs, but we at some point, ahead of Dahlia early in the film know it's NOT. As usually Connelly, is as brilliant in her performance as she is beautiful..... and some intense and moody acting from Tim Roth. Was surprised to see Roth this good in his performance but for Connelly, I wasn't as she always is.
