    Kinsa ninyo nagamit og Azurues? Naka try mo green smilies? Yellow lagi ako permi. Naa NAPT na configuration ila SU? Naa sila blocked ports?

    Also tried setting up HTTP server sa akong machine, dili lagi visible gikan gawas (using my http://203.84.18X.XX [outside] IP).
    Already checked with firewall settings -> okay
    http://localhost -> okay, ma access.
    tried using DynDNS service also but no help...any ideas?

    bro darkwing,

    dynamic PRIVATE ip.
    If only our IP is public, then there would be not much of a problem setting up servers within.

    So if we are to serve(eg. ftp server, web server, or peer-peer sharing(uploading).. etc), then we have to be a public or viewable from the web.

    If we are behind a server/router that shares the internet connection, in which the router or server holds the public ip, then the server/router should be configured to allow port forwarding to the hosts or ip of the server.

    In this case meridian has the server/router giving us our dynamic private ip. Will they allow port forwarding? I greatly doubt.

    If servers is realy that important to you, avail the corporate package where they are offering a public ip

    Downloading/ Leeching doesnt care whether you're public or private, same principle with just browsing sites, wherein yahoo/istorya/etc. are servers and we are simply downloading files to view the website.
