Well, the Lord Jesus Christ was truly Man so in one sense, yes the Roman Catholic Church was founded by a man, who is The Man, who is The God-Man.

you two don't know what you are talking about. catholicism, which is under christianity, is not a religion but a religious affiliation. religions are christianity, buddhism, judaism, etc...tell me if the the roman catholic church wasn't founded by people.

I charitably disagree. From what the Magisterium taught me, Catholicism is Christianity and is a religion. Those who affirm the Apostle's Creed and were baptized with the Trinitarian formula are separated brethren to Catholics. The rest are not.
