my few cents:

amable aguiluz, the owner of ama (i dont know which version because all of his great grandfathers were also amable aguiluz) was an erap crony. thats the only reason why ama got ched's approval during president estrada's time and became a 'univeristy'. this 'school' is one of the reminders of graft & corruption in our country.

i have nothing against the students & teachers of ama, its just with their administrators (and board or 'owners'). they are all about making profit and have no interest in the learning & education of their 'customers'

so true! grabe ang mga fees, unexplainable. naa na miscellaneous fees, na pa jud other fees. nag ask ko ug breakdown. i was passed from one department to another. from the accounting to the auditor to the dean to the director and back to the accounting again! it was like i went through a whole rigodon. i was also charged with a distance learning of some sort, which was not included in our prospectus I DID NOT even enroll for it but I was CHARGED for it. i asked for a refund but they said I can use it for the next sem. I also explained that I will not be able to use it on the next semester due to the fact that I will be graduating on the current semester. the result NO REFUND! We did try using it but they will not allow us to use the classroom because we do not have a teacher. very ironic! we really don't have a teacher because it was not our subject and NOT part of of curriculum. HELLO! I know i have a lot of angst towards the said institution though I graduated from the said school. A lot of questions that needs answers are usually answered with the same line "We are CENTRALIZED." it means all of their decisions rely on the Luzon branch. Even the Local holidays they still have to consult it with the Manila branch. Isn't it supposed to be that they should have a school calendar for the next year to be given to the Luzon branch so that(the Head branch) they be aware of what is to come. I don't know why they only inform the Head branch of the holidays when it is only a day or two ahead. tsk! tsk! tsk!

I know I don't have any kind words for the said school. The rooms though may be airconditioned but not all feel cold. there are rooms wherein you feel like you are inside an oven. Lessons and learning are unbearable due to the fact that you are sweating profusely.

I even heard that a classmate of mine passed a certain subject because something was given to the teacher.

ingon sila tanan students daw pwede makatake og MCP exam as student benefit sa ila tie-up with MS. pero selected ra ang naka-take. sa akoa batch usa ka student og usa ka intructor ra ang nakapasar sa 70-270 (Windows XP) na exam out of 40 or so examinees.
