I ONLY said that Jesus WAS practicing Judaism. This is an INCONTROVERTIBLE FACT you see in the Bible - unless you have another of Soriano's interpretations - that's another story.

And by the way YOU ARE WRONG that Jesus "is the first Christian." You don't even see that in the Bible. Jesus WAS/IS "The Christ. (Matt 16:16)" but was never a Christian as you said it. The terms Christ and Christian DO NOT MEAN THE SAME THING. The term Christ refers to " the Messiah" or "the Anointed One" while the term "Christian" refers to a believer of Jesus as the Christ or Messiah.

The "first Christians" were the Apostles or to many Catholics, Mary was said to be the first Christian (thru her acceptance of Christ in The Annunciation).

If you read your Bible well, the first clear or accepted usage of the term Christian is in Acts 11:26 "And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." (KJV).

Suggest you PLEASE define PROPERLY your terms.

    Jesus never built his church.
    Jesus never built a religion.
All he teached or whatever he taught were principles.
    Jesus was not materialistic.
    He never needed a church.
    His church was his heart.
    His church were his principles.
You guys claim this and that.
But Jesus never built a church or religion.
He never even wrote anything about it.
If he did, he should have wrote about them himself.

and his autobiography could've been a bestseller. hehehe... the threadstarter is creating a kindergarten topic. dont mind him. ***Joke***

RC: Jesus is not the first christian... why? Well, if there was another Jesus Christ before him, he could be. But it would also depend if He would have the same teachings/way of life/belief.

    Peace!

Your religion is what you believe in.

And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

then the 1st Pop of the Roman Catholic Church is Peter therefore, the only Church founded by Jesus Christ is the Roman Catholic Church by the successor Peter.

In history also if you search on the net, encyclopedia books, and any related books it will come up as the only church founded by Jesus is the Roman Catholic Church.

and Jesus also give Peter the authority of the Church read this...

    Mt 16:19-20
I will give you (singular) the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
