that would depend
if your planning on upgrading you pc, you still have to consider the socket type you have. or replacing your whole unit. if you plan buying a new PC, it will cost you about 25-30K w/ LCD screen already.

@luigie_lester: i'd suggest listing what parts you want to upgrade and then checking the prices online (e.g. pc express, wired systems)... it will also help if you let us know what you will be using your PC for (i.e. goals for upgrading).

apparently you need to upgrade the whole thing since older designs are no longer compatible with the latest ones.
