cebu city man gud ang mubayad sa utang, then ang talisay kay igo ra ni claim..
lisud na kaayog ang Cebu City ang mupas-an sa utang then ang talisay nag-gain sa tanan or part of it.nalumos naman gani sa utang ang cebu city..camote na.
I am from Cebu City but we are currently developing 3 of our properties in Talisay City. All I can say is that Talisaynons should blame Eddie Gul & not Tommy O.
Now regarding casual CITOM employees who were no longer "renewed or rehired" by Cebu City or something? I believe they became "casualties of war." When a person is already mad, human nature dictates that he will no longer be reasonable and WILL get personal. Tomas is just protecting Cebu City's (also his) interests. Moreover, it is his prerogative as Mayor.
I can't help but feel sorry for the Talisaynons and yes, classes is almost up so EVERYBODY including the working class will particularly feel the heat caused by Eddie Gul.
klase na ugma, dili pa khapon pwede mu agi sa SRP? naa lagi uban maka agi, kinsa ramay pwede mu agi?
if i'm not mistaken, the road has been opened to buses and cars of members ALU-TUCP, government vehicles, ambulances and others on emergency-related cases.. and private car owners with granted passes, a friend of mine is applying for one, but got discouraged when he knew of the hassle he has to undertook just to procure one.. (for instance, asking of referral from LTO)
tsk.. tsk.. all of us are paying taxes and are definitely taking share of paying debts associated to the project.. it's not fair that only selected persons will be given a chance to use the road..
NO!!
GMA released a presidential proclamation already, transferring the ownership of the entire SRP to the Cebu City government.. ordered DENR to issue the document to the rightful property owner..
moreover, DOJ has already clearly stated in a legal opinion that the property is owned by cebu city..
it purports gullas is making talisay city's claim over portions of SRP more of a personal issue.. meddling in the affairs of tommy which in turn have really caused disadvantage to the people of cebu and as well as talisay city.. local government is spending about P1.5 million a day to pay for the interest alone on the SRP.. the loan has ballooned from P2.2 billion in 1998 to P6.3 billion and as eventually we are gonna shoulder the burden of paying it..Originally Posted by crinkle

I was driving the other day from Laray, Talisay on my way to SM. When I was about to take a right, I was dismayed when I saw the "No Entry" sign, which means I have to go through the hassle of driving down Inayawan and weave through those inconvenient jeepneys in which I did.
On the way back to Talisay, I decided to try passing through SRP from Cebu City. I noticed some men who were in charge of opening and closing the gate and thought I could never go through. There were some vehicles who made it inside, so I followed those vehicles and was able to go through.
To anyone who has any idea about this one, please enlighten us. Are private vehicles allowed to pass through SRP?
وليس هناك كعكه ، والكعكه هو كذبة.
SO it means,,,naay pamolitika nga nahimo sa! Unya ang utang sa SRP kita man usab ang gabayad, dili man lang si TOMAS o si GULLAS ang nagbayad ani mga bai!
