Does anyone know how to connect the internet using Bluetooth PAN? Here is the senario:

I have a Cdrking Bluesoeil Bluetooth dongle. I have also a PC with Smart Bro connection. I want to share my Smart bro from my PC to my PPC... (O2 XDA IIs using WM6).. I tried it to configure it my self for quite sometime. When i connect my Bluetooth PAN. in my PPC internet sharing it needs a network connection.
My PPC will pop-up a message:

"cannot obtain a server assigned IP address.
Try agian later or enter an IP address in Network Settings"

Do i need to make a Network Connection on my PPC?

what do you think must i do? for me to share my internet connection?

First of all i dont recommend bluesoliel driver for the BT dongle, lisod kaayo i configure kay mag buot sya sa com port. im using billionton bt dongle with widcom driver, but ok ra ang ms bt driver.

bluesoleil does pair up with a lot of devices but like what Mater Lopio said, mag buot na sa COM Port. Pilian siya in that sense. WiDom BT Stack na lang bai. And sa imo PPC, activate via BT Pan ang connection nimo thru internet sharing.

Jun better better complain to PLDT, i think they block all sites if you are using WM device, kay if you use symbian ma open man tanan site, kung wm device only wap site ang ma open hehe..........

Bro, pwd man ma change ang registry settings na mo log-in as PC instead of PPC para dili ma discriminate sa uban sites. Limot lang ko asa to usbon. heheheh ngita niya ko. So far, wa man ko problem ani pag gamit sa akong dopod using HSDPA.
