nice movie but it was kind of a short story movie. and the movie that i saw wasn't a very clear copy of dvd

If you remember in the trailers... you will see Will Smith sort of being interrogated by the infected humans but this was not in the movie... this could be part of the original ending that the movie producers/director changed because will smith divulged the ending to the Japanese people held during the presscon... the book's ending is also different but the character of Will Smith still died (took a poison pill)... but he was indeed the last man on earth in the book, he just met sane infected lady human/s (instead of a real immune human in the movie).

But nevertheless, it was nice... perhaps the ending would have been better...

Yeah I was actually waiting for that scene, was kinda wondering when the grenade blew up...then later read about the ending changes in Wikipedia so I shrugged and figgered maybe they wanted something simpler and more straightforward.
