Web Designing! (FEE LESS THAN 5K, OYON BA MO?)

anyway, ive just started with the web designing and i rated one client for 3.5k lang.. ang banner lang ang flash.
without database man to so if they wanted to display more products.. another payment nalang pud nila
kai dala naman maintenance.. although for that site.. ang webhost ato free ra man gud nako.. not the
common free site hosters though.. d man pud ko ganahan mu airhead sa akong nahimo.. mao less ra
sad ako rate sa graphics.. kapoi lang man jud ang coding T_T sa multiply ubay2x nmn pud ngpa design nako.
mas lesser lang jud ko mu rate sa uban online shop designers sa multiply ..lol. sa akong case mna gud karon pa
ko officially na student sa digital designing.. before psych major man ko and even if ive already been designing
before i graduated HS i look down man gud ang ako talents just because i am just a psych major and computer
softwares isnt anywhere near my field. mypa mu shift. hehehe..

ok rana oi.. you dont need to study art kong artis jud ka it should be natural.. heehhee..

ang ako pud.. ina-migo raman ni akong prisyo pwede rapud di bayran(ay lang sad pirmi). basta ma lingaw lang ko og akong ma butang sa akong portfolio. ehehehe.

Lolz. For me its ok. If you're not resourceful then 5K is not enough for the hard work you have put into it. But if you have the right tools then 5K is too much. I can as well make that site in under 30 minutes with the right tools without breaking a sweat. BTW check the preview of my site www.video-game-consoles.net......I made that in under 30 minutes. I can put an e-commerce shop in under 5-minutes and so on. If you're interested then PM me.

OO bai basta naa lang ka mga tools gamiton? You don't need to learn HTML,PHP to make one.Like I said those days are gone. Much better tools are there for us to use. Just take advantage nalang sa mga tools.

OK ra, as long as I can finish the project in less than a day. 5K for one day's worth of work is not bad.

The lowest rate I accepted back in my college days was for free. It was an ex deal though.

Price your projects based on your skill. Don't ever settle. I know people here that get thousands of dollars for simple projects and they have a lot less skill or artistic abilities. I've seen tons of crazy in a good way things from these forums though that would cost a ton of money to clients willing to pay.

If you guys were to ask me as to whether I am amenable or not to this pricing . I would say ok ra mga 7k . 5K pwede na para sa mga kaila .
Check this out I made this website for less than a day ..During my leisures .
For me the price goes with the content of the site and the design as well.
CMS and wordpress driven ni .. Ofcourse with databases ...but I am not a freelance nga designer .

I definitely agree with that ....It's about marketing strategy and sales talk with the clients ..so No matter how bad is the website , once you 've decided about the amount that needs to be paid to the designer/developer regardless of the output that needs to be complied accordingly based on the terms and conditions you've discussed about . Now, after this be ready for open suggestions from clients.

5k is an insult if our clients want something of www.thefwa.com level.
We should all strive to achieve the level of those designers/design firms who are included in the FWA.
