I am a protestant. Way denomination-ay man ni imo dong.... you just separated catholics and protestants.

And you totally missed the point. Who says you cannot be sure about your salvation? I said thru Jesus only. Are you into Him and His love? Have you given your life over to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

And the point is this.... what was the point of this post in the first place?

I beg to disagree with you boys.... a harsh word stirs up anger. A gentle answer turns away wrath. That is found in OUR bible. Prov 15. (baliktad lang man tingali ang ako pagkasulti diri. hahahahaha)

Defend not religion but Jesus. If your God has been blasphemed...then speak up. And I am pretty much very anti-bashing of catholics. Wala'y better people ninyo tawn oi.

I just feel that in these times... we need to focus on our own spirituality. How well do we know our God? How do we know He is real? Both groups focus too hard on the log in each other's eyes that both might be just be logs that will be used for Satan's furnace.

Why not focus on those who do not know Jesus? Tell those people how Jesus saved you from eternal damnation. There is so much to do as a servant of God... of even grander scale... acts that will give you crowns of life in heaven. This act of bashing does no one no good.

I don't know Bro. Eli Soriano that well but, as far as I have listened to or read from him, even though I may not agree with everything he teaches (If I did, I'd be a member of the Church of God International, aka Ang Dating Daan), I don't think he is 100% wrong either.

Purely on the basis of his teaching from the Bible alone (pwera personal life and teachings not from the Bible, if any) ... Isn't the greatest commandment to love God above all? If he becomes an instrument for a person to get closer to God through his ministry (limit ko lang kanang sa Bible ra based), is he not doing well, at least in that sense, to that person's life?

What I don't agree though, and it's not specific to any church or movement, is needless criticism against any church. It's either one agrees or not. One may give the reason why one does not agree but, ridicule (especially public) is another matter entirely.

So what if it was a true story? I am sure the anti-cath bashers will have true stories of their own.

I was not affected oi....but I can already foresee the feelings of anger this will stir up.

Hahayyy.... ang akin lang ba...sana di ka na nakisabay sa kanila coz that does not make you a better catholic

hehehe geoseph. you argue for soriano (in a sense) but not (in a sense)

i am following lang your right (but i need to qualify why) argumentation.

but i totally and unequivocally agree with you in your last paragraph

    you misconstrue my words hahay

OUR meaning yours and mine. Iisa lang ang proverbs the last time i looked in the catholic bible.

Walay better people meaning... parehas lang kayo. No one is the better man.

    Im not bashing you.

How do you know your God? Yes...not by the book alone but in your everyday walk. You know lagi in ur brains..but not in your heart...wala rin kuwenta. True Christianity is not heard alone but seen. Can Christ be seen in me? That is a question you should always ask yourself.
