i think you should check the capacitors of the video card and motherboard.

Computer spec.
p4 cpu 2.66
16kb primary cache
1024kb secondary

asustek p5gl-mx
512 memory
OS windows xp pro build 5.1.2600
sp2

graphics card req.

cpu w/ processor 1 ghz or higher
128mb ram
windows xp
cd/dvd
35mb avail space

sequence sa nahitabo
jan 3 install nako ang graphcs card.ok ra wlay problema, nag play ko ug game (nfsmw) about an hour.
jan 4,5 just playing mini games about 2-3 hr(diner dash ug gold miner). jan 6 my brother play nfsmw about 2 hrs i change all possible effect graphics from the game ( sa game video option ra) from lowes to highest resolution. then na crash cya reboot then theres the blue screen of death (If this is the first........ remove the new install.....) error nv4_mini.sys. after ani i try to restart but same si i decided to repair the os. basin maoy daot but not solve. i remove the graphics card and software.i reformat the os, intall again then the pic show maoy akong makita sa screen.



i google it. found many suggestion but not totally same situation. i go to 3dfuzion site, it says update bios.

remove onboard graphics.
not solve ghapon

install the latest software from nvidia.
not solve.
dli matiwas ang installation mo restart..

microsoft report error.

hmmm tan awa kono bro if naay niborot na capasitor..

try using another vcard then if it works perfectly without those thing...

if it does... vcard ang guba.. pero if dli gani japon nasa MOBO nmo ang buga.....

it could be also windows error try going to control panel > administrative tools > event view and check if any log has been created on the date your pc crashed...

but I suspect mainly the videocard is busted. If you can, while running your game, try to touch your videocard's heatsink closest part of the sink sa chipset. kun makapaso ba. or just around 40 - 50C
