Businessminded, its okay to be warned if we missed certain things, I agree you do need to be told if you violate certain rules. But want to clarify the part where it goes away after a few days,per what you said Mawagtang ra na, but now we need to apologize to Mods? Is that the standing rule, whenever you get warned we need to apologize to mods before warning goes away? Not trying to make it difficult just clarifying.

There is supposed to be a system that automatically takes warnings away after a certain period of time, unfortunately, that system doesn't work too well. If you want your warning removed, the best way is to get in touch with the moderator who moderated you. What both of you say in private doesn't matter, it is his/her decision to remove or to keep the warning/moderation/mute. It doesn't have to be an apology, but apologies here work just as they do in real life. If you can't own up and say ... "sorry my bad", then that is your own ego talking. If you don't feel like you should give an apology, explain where you stand. The mod can either agree or disagree, remove or not remove any warnings.

when diay ka gi warned bro? ako pud i was warned kay i was having problem posting my pics since new ko diri and an istoryan was kind enough to help me out...now there is this another istoryan who commented na oa, so akoang gi replyan ug happy new year coz i dont want naay kaaway...the thing is gi warningan ko..so i asked apology from that mod. the next day another female mod messaged me and tapus gi warned nako when in fact it was a very minute mistake... to say happy new year. Anyway, ang akoang nahibudngan coz katong tao na ni ingon ug o.a was not warned and katong iyang post na oa nawala... I really couldnt understand. Imbis magkasinabtanay ta diri kay puros ta bisaya, makasubo kaayo na daghan mga tao na masuya. sorry to say

I've had this warn level I believe for almost if not over 2 weeks (my estimate), so I just pm'd a Mod like people have been saying to do, now I'm still waiting for an answer thats where I am now.

Coyz, I hear ya, it is unfortunate but the best thing to do is communicate with mods and explain your side. At this point thats all we can do.

My hope is Mods can distinguish true mistakes vs. the opposite and study our cases, with us learning from it.

The rules aren't overkill. I've been here in iStorya for 2 years and I've never experienced a warned status. Just follow the rules and everything will be okay.
