ideally, the guy should do most of the gasto but if the guy is financially-challenged then, the best (and the only way for him to retain his ego and self-respect) way is to do it fifty-fifty (50% for each person in every expenditure together).

under no circumstance should the gal do most of the gasto most of the time kay this carries the impression that the guy can not support the girl (that he presumably loves) and their family (kids, etc.) when the time comes. (why should a woman marry a guy she knows to be inadequate for a father figure?)

plus this puts the girl in a bad light kay she gives the impression that she is desperate and taking the role of a sugar mommy!

this is a point of view from a guy!

ani ni siya, if ang guy ni invite sa girl, then ang guy dapat mo BAYAD!!! paka ulaw lang ang laki mo invite unya walay kwarta.. aw lain nana, klarong nanggamit na sa babae. kung mo bayad pod ang babae.. aw uto uto he he he. kung close friends mo, ok ra na girl mo bayad sa guy pero dili lang gyapon magpalabi kay binuang nana.

if i was the one who invited the girl out for a date then it's on me.between me and my gf then sabot sabot lang if kinsa. if wala ko then siya ang mo bayad vice versa.there are also time na mag tunga sa bayad.there was even a time a wala koy work then it was my gf who usually takes the bill but at least i save some money so that akoy maka treat niya at least once a month.(i was a bum for 1 year) bisag wala koy work i still able to take her out at my expense.
