My HD3870 has a built in HD sound system.

For a single HDMI cable solution both for audio and Video. Just have to use the DVI to HDMI adapter.

@muzicfreakah: for HTPC applications, i think this would do just fine... fast-paced games might not be this board's forte.

Now to bluray and HD optical drives,

Finally connected na ko via HDMI, though its still my X850xt video card, like sir blade said, its good enough, sayang lang kay akong AOC lcd naka VGA nalang

Before man gud, I already had an HDMI cable stick to the back of my TV which naka tago na gyud ug tarung and to replace it with the long HDMI cable which I ordered I would have to remove the tv and everything else, kapoy kaayo, so I ordered and HDMI splitter which was really cheap, around 500HK ra, 3 port HDMI switcher with remote na So im using it now with MY PC, and HELIOS upscaling DVD player. Thanks to my friend Val for getting it for me in HK Atleast I dont have to get an HDMI amp anymore, no need na

and for those who want only the best, the quality of the video (and audio) cable is also important... the more noise-resistant, and the better the quality of the medium carrying the video signals (via material and production process), the better.
