It all boils down to interpretation . In another context , HORN SIGN is also I LOVE YOU . It is hard to say when someone is using a symbol and tells them , why are you using that symbol if you dont know what it means . These are premeditated , you will think negatively but we are using it as a symbol in our oiwwn terms , not from the terms of the critics .

Like the OWL HORN SYMBOL ... ngano gud intawn na OWL HORN na siya ? because literally it looks like a face with horns . Did you guys even know na ang V sign is a symbol for PEACE or VICTORY ? ... but the fact that freemasonry has "OBSCURE ORIGINS", cannot erase the fact that anybody's Christian faith could be obscured by the freemasonry teachings & principles...

I think this is exactly the fear of the religious organizations that does not approve of it. =)

What will happen to it's members who freely associate with religiously tolerant people, and freethinkers to boot? The person may see a world larger than the church one grew up with. Some see this as evil. There are churches who do not appreciate people who will share information it sees as not in harmony with it's teachings.

Is faith really that fragile? What kind of faith loses itself in the light of knowing what the rest of the world holds? Is not the Truth supposed to withstand anything? I think a church that is afraid of other "truths" is not a very secure church.

By all means, any church that shares it's faith by example or illustration is a good thing. But, any church that "forces the issue" to it's members what to believe is my definition of a cult.
