too much memory?!? it barely uses 3MB on my system. maybe you are referring to the automatic daily scan that would really make your computer crawl.

Newly assembled CPU...will LImeWire and Adobe count? also, i'm using a proxy server sometimes..does it also cause my PC to hang?

di na maka unsa adobe og limewire onya kana pod avg pero di lang avg ako gamit pero ok ra mana kanang basin naay problema sa hardware nimo.

limewire download at 1000stream simultaneously can kill ur pc...are you using the pro or the free version?

adobe..what adobe...photoshop..illustrator.acrobat.premier..af ter effects...etc.

avg can only depreciate ur pc by 5-7% max. norton can reach as high as 18%

anyways... whats the specs of ur pc?.how much memory?..how big is ur hdd? is it partitioned? SATA..EIDE?

onboard video? discreet card for graphics?..

MULTITASKER? player hd movies while working..streamimg..

AFAIK..there are a lot of factors affecting a pc performance..

and to most users...mydocs is useful..but its actually useless..

storing downloaded movies which require codecs (divx..etc.. ) can lag ur pc..

mydocs is a windows component..when pc starts up..it also initiates the codecs to ready the movies in the mydocs...this will eat ur memory resources..it can hit 100% usage.

and O.T. microsoft policy is that..use OS lifespan depends on your drive C: lifespan..so if you buy ND ENROLL UR os TO m$..AND THEN IT CRASHED...you'll have to buy a new media kit from M$..so a spacious drive C: and cooled HDD saves u.

and it wont LAG.
