Guys need help on Mac OS X and Win XP using Flash drive file Transfer

Mga Bro, Usaon pag Pas-pas transfer mga FILES using Flash drive or HDD enclosure from WIN XP to MAC OS?

Kung i-reformat nako ang flash drive gikan sa WIN XP unya transfer ko files padung sa MAC OS 10.4 why man grabeh ka hinay and usahay mo ungot kung diri Pud nako i-reformat ang Flash drive sa MAC OS X 10.4 dili man mo detect sa WIN XP ang flash drive.

naa bakaha software ani para maka detect ang WIN XP sa MAC OS X format

i tried already formating my flash drive in mac os tiger and copying files, den tranfer to win xp. wala man blema bro...

try daw install Mac OSX ug macfuse and ntfs-3g this may solve the problem. lahi man gud format sa xp - ntfs and sa apple lahi pud (forgot the name). you need a software that will read both formats. hope this helps

mao bah bro? kung diri ko format sa win xp mo detect cya sa mac os pero ang file transfer grabeh ka hinay gyud especially ang file size kay 5 gig and 6 gig nga file... grabeh ka hinay pero kung documents lang dali ra kau dali ra file transfer kung 50mb lang og 100mb pero kung gig na mga bro. grabeh ka hinay sometimes mo ungot

nindot ni nga info bro dah, try nako search macfuse and ntfs 3g, bitaw mga bro. post pa daw mo mga info about ani nga issue.... kay daghan kau ko mga files i transfer from my other computer(desktop winxp installed) to my Mac 10.4 tiger,

naka try man ko format sa mac OS using fat32 pero hinay lang kau, mura ra pang documents and small size nga files, dili gyud mada transfer big-files like 5-10 gig...

Hinay jud na bro kay FAT32 file system ang gamit usually sa flash drive. the file system itself is slow but the big factor is the speed of the USB.

Even copying huge files to the external hardrive using USB interface may take hours to complete.

duna bakaha software para pas2x transfer from winxp to mac os?

nag copy 2 gig nga files from winxp sulod nako sa enclosure hdd, i think mga 30mins or less, paghuman copy sa files gikan sa winxp unya sulod nako sa mac os X matay bro. takes forever to copy, hinay kau... 2-4mb for every 10sec. usahay inig abot ug 500mb or 700mb mo ungot pagyud...

kung naa moy software nahibal-an post daw links or info tnx mga bros.

i heardsa migo nako naa daw software para winxp nga mo read og mac os X format not fat32. mao ni akong gipa ngita nga software para winxp, ang xp akong pabasahon sa mac os x format...

ang mac os gud naa man gud 5 options to chose kung unsa clase imo pag ka format ang flash drive and one of those option is fat32 which is very slow even tho usb2.0 akong use, and the others is mac os X format(forgot unsa to name). pas2x kau kung mac to mac...

ang kana man gud fat 32 di na siya recommended for win xp samut kung apple mac, type of format na siya nga para sa previous versions like win 98. Mao tu recommend ko atong macfuse then update ug ntfs-3g free mana plug in sa tiger then mu recognize nana siya ntfs na file. naa jud na bati nga effect nga ang intended format kay di gamitun mu slow jud ang pc. I am using winxp sa office and a macbook at home and thru that software nga ako giupdate sa ako tiger so far I dont have any problems transferring files to my external drive which is formatted para windows (ntfs)

ok, where can u down load the mac fuse and update it to ntfs 3g, naa mo links?? kana lang safe nga website basin kau virus if i-google nako... hadlok lang ko kay dili raba ko kibaw mo format ug mac....

pag post pamo lain info regarding this issue mga bros. wala gyud software para winxp para mo read sa mac os x format mahadlok ko kung dirii nako ipang install ang mga software sa mac kay basin unya ma bulabog ang mac... post daw mo para win xp software compatible with mac OS format..., nice kau ang mac os format tungod grabeh ka pas2x transfer ang files, 5gig kay dali ra kau ma transfer kung mac os format....
