If there's one album I could think of that would describe my 1990's decade, it would have to be Vertical Horizon's Everything You Want.
To me, it definitely gives you hope for the modern rock era.
Yes the songs are a bit melodic for the serious rock fan, i just love the thoughtful lyrics and vocal delivery.
This album isn't entirely rock-- i would say more on the pop/rock genre and as a fan of many different genres of music this album appealed very very much to me.
Not all songs in the album are great but the album as a whole reminds me of the time spent watching Dawson's Creek, writing about my feelings and putting on lotion on a full moon in my candle lit room.
