I'm into jazz / blues too.

I also play guitar. The ff. are my all time fave bues albums:

1. Eric Clapton - From the Cradle (superb guitar playing...It's simply amazing.)
2. Stevie Ray Vaughan -Texas Flood (...great great blues licks)
3. Buddy Guy - Sweet Tea (It sounds so dark to me...)


For Jazz, I dig Pat Metheny, John Scofield, etc.

There's 40 the Band, the only local act that plays blues/classic rock (that i know of)... you can catch them at Formo, Tapas, Outpost, Paseo, and other venues as well. Highly recommended :mrgreen:

You have a high music I.Q. ! Kenny G, Earl Klugh are not jazz artist, they are simply pop instrumentalists with shades of crossover and a little jazz, but they are not jazz artists in the real sense of the word..... i posted this because, when the topic of jazz pops out....daghan dayun mga "motherhood" statements, yes nahan kaayo ko'g jazz oy...like Earl Klugh ug Kenny G. but very few mention the real deal like Pat Metheny, Scofield, Al di meola, Jim Mclaughlin, Joe Pass, Dave Brubeck, Keith Jarrett, Chic Corea, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Charlie Byrd, Miles Davis, etc. Sooo please before you post anything on this jazz thread, pag research usa mo oy!
