mao na ehhe pero mahal lng mga project..

1st yer = 1 - 3k cost project
2nd yer= 5k+ cost project
3rd yer = 5 - 10k cost project
4th yer = 10k+ cost project
5th yer = 50k cost THESIS

medyo baliktad bro comsci is more like a tweener between compe & it in a way...halos wala gyud koy makita na common sa it & compE ;p compE however is definitely a tweener between comsci & ece

nope. com sci is die-hard software design/programming, PL, etc... comp.e is more on hardware/technical side of things. IT came in later.

comsci is more theoretical in nature..ang mga schools lng kay nag offer og more practical majors like software engineering (which is not really 'engineering' per se).

when you compare it with other courses, you can put it this way (although in general ni ha may not apply to actual courses.


theory -> applied

physics --> engineering
math --> accounting,engineering
compsci --> IT,compE (in a way)

if you look at the subjects in a computer science course in MIT, you would notice na halos tanan kay theoretical in nature.naa ra sa mga students kung magkuha silag IT-related subjects dayon..pero ang mga required subjects are all theory (automata, number theory, discrete math, formal languages etc)

para nako as a comp. e graduate mas maayo ang comp. e ky round ka tanan about computer nd electronics, digital and analog. but naa rana nmo if asa ka mag focus, nd about computer, pag mag skol paka dli mo tudlo-an ug pc troubleshooting ky dali nalang kaayo na ninyo tungod ky gkan man mo sa kalisod sa math. mao dili naka mag lisod. okey.... dako lang jud gasto esp. in projects..

bitaw, comp-e grad sad ko. all around sarsa ang comp-e kaysa IT or compsci. wa man sila kabalo about hardware, kanang sulda2x ug EPROM2x..

mas gasto ang com-e lang pinaka gasto naa project kada semana den if mobuto aw palit nasad.
if programming storyaan naa mansad.

ang comp-e nga curriculum kay major mansad namo inyong software.
kana gani inyong edefend igka dayun graduate, major sad na namo.
murag mga 3rd year man tingale na sa among curriculum.

ang mere difference jud is engineering course ni siya so basically tanan math sa engineering course naa sa comp-e.

comp-e is a combination of ECE(hardware) and IT/Compsci(software) course.

I for myself, don't have strong background in math, but still surviving.. hehehe..
