Okay guys... Enough talking about getting together for a jam. My band is playing this Saturday nite at The Tapas Afterhours Lounge in Crossroads (next to Vudu). We're playing Black, American SOUL music starting at 10:30pm. In case you don't already know, if you mix Blues with Gospel music youy get SOUL music. Nice dance beats, cool as hell lyrics, and my personal promise to knock your socks off with some blues-style guitar playing. You wanna check it out? Come see my band, Soul Mafia. Unlike another local band who has the word "Soul" in their band name, we actually play soul music... Maybe we can talk about a jam after that... Serpentboy is a killer harp player, but he can't do this alone. Nuff said.

By the way, Bruce Conte is playing tonight(dec 19) @ The Outpost. It's the last night of the series of Wednesdays where he jammed with some of the best local musicians. And Mr. Vince Russo also plays with him.

For those who don't know Mr. Conte, he was the lead guitarist of the west coast band Tower of Power. He's got some killer stuff that you should hear. Blues, soul, funk...
