nop... artists are made famous after their deaths....
* FACT: Leonardo da Vinci was not only a brilliant artist but was also a scholar who had many talents in addition to his painting. He worked on mechanics, though geometry was his main love. He was involved in hydrodynamics, anatomy, mechanics, mathematics and optics.
I read that Da Vinci for a time was in the service of the Duke Of Milan, he was considered as a hydraulic and mechanical engineer. While at the Duke's service he also adviced on architecture, fortifications and military matters. The King of France also gave Da Vinci the title of painter, architect and mechanic.
If he were alive today, he would probably be not only rich but famous like Bill Gates. Though not as visible as the Gates, Da Vinci would prefer a reclusive life.![]()
that explains why his paintings are geometrically proportional....Originally Posted by sheeshcute

* YEP! He loved geometry and his mathematical studies so much that it kept him away from painting much of the time.Originally Posted by wikitoy
