I'm using vista ultimate with my notebook so far....... so good with 2gig memory. Let me share my personal experience with the wonder of Vista ultimate was the way it handles memory during multi tasking. For example, my bit torrent download was going at full speed at 180kbps one day, and under XP, my pc starts to lag, my mp3s are not playing smoothly, and even the mouse gone haywire. Then I switched to VISTA, and everything is back to normal, as smooth as it can get!! mind you, the torrent speed that time was a FULL BLAST at 180kbps!!

This is because XP is limiting to only TCP 10 new connections only. When bittorrent protocol, which hundreds of incoming connection is requested in one time, XP chokes. This is partly Bill's fault, they do this to minimize virus propagation (viruses requests also many new connections at one time). There is a patch to overcome this limit. With this patch bittorrent in XP will be very much faster than Vista.
