after 3months of waiting... Finally.... my Birth Certificate arrived already.
The same birth certificate nga sayop... but naa notice or message sa ubos:

6 months pa naku makuha ang corrected nga birth certificate jud.
kato na jud naa details unya correct ang mga field sa information.
haaaaayyyy... sulbad...
after months of preparations sa mga requirements. Finallly...
ako gpadala sa amo province via LBC, gsubmit sa NSO sa amoa day after na received atong December of 2007 then na received ang result March 2008...

Dear Taga_Ipil <---- hehehe ako lang ilisan.
Please be informed that it is not necessary that supporting documents for R.A. 9048 be notarized, however there is no prohibition under the law that prevents supporting documents to be notarized. Further, a document once notarized shall be valid in every part of the Philippines as these become public documents. The place of notarization shall not affect the validity of the documents even if they be submitted in the place other than the place of notarization.
Petitions for R.A. 9048 should be filed with the Civil Registry Office of ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay where you were born and the said petition may be notarized either by the civil registrar of the said municipality in his exercise of his function or through a notary public.
The fee of P2000 per erroneous letter charged by the notaries are not the proper fees provided forth in R.A. 9048.
