@jcy0001 : i dont think amma do dual monitor'z,..... so just maybe 1 big LCD,... im not sure wat size yet,..... but for sure im NOT finna buy da Apple 30" LCD,..... 3 G'z is just too much,....

i was lookin' at ABiT Fatal1ty AN8 SLi,.... itz hella tight,..... but it only has 2X PCI Slotz,.... im not sure but im thinkin i might need maybe 3,.. but im not sure yet,....
but foshow amma hook up a TV Tuner in 1 of PCI slotz,.... and datz meanz i have 1 more PCI slot left,.... im not sure wat elz amma hook in 1 of available slot yet,...
but who knowz i might just need only 2 PCI slotz,.....

u gotz any suggestionz on a motherboard.....?

im using the DFI ( only 2 pci slots) and so far so good just playing around with bios for now should instlall by tonight just running memtest stuff looking for an easy startoff point before installing so far 240X11 @ 2-2-2-8 is looking good so if i dont run into anything major ill install later as for the monitor check out the 24"wide dell for below 1000$ its preaty good as for the pci slots aside from tv tuner what else you putting in? this things got everythign built in if you want dual tv tuner the hauppauge pvr500mce is sweeeeeet especially if your gona run the media center edition of XP oh and good luck with the girlfriend

if your gonna get SLI MoBo be sure to have a really big case... Super Tower cases... ^_^ not only that you will have a case with good air circulation... you will have lots of space... ^_^ Cooler Master Stacker supports dual PSU... ^_^

here mah up date on mah comp. im building,....

i just recieve'd mah "Mushkin 1GB XP3500 (2 x 512) Redline" to in da mail,... (06 24.05)

i already order'd mah motherboard "ABiT Fatal1ty AN8 SLi" im still waiting on that to arrive around this week or if not early next week,.....

and about mah processor,.... i changed mah mind in buying a AMD 64 FX-55,....... i'll just get the AMD 64 X2 4200 (dual core),.... its way cheaper thn the FX-55,..... basically, you can overclock a 4200+ to 4800+ level and beyond,.....
i'll be ordering mah AMD 64 X2 4200+ around next week,....

and since NVidia GeForce 7800 GTX already came out,.... i'll be getting that for mah system,.... ill prob-ly order dat next week or next next week....

for the AMD 64 X2 4200+ i look'd in newegg,.... and they had a OK price on it,....
so if i cant find anything other store that cheaper thn that,..... ima just order it in newegg,....
