Bro...paki check lang pud imo sound card driver or try lang reinstall driver sa sound card. Pwede sad nimo ma check if your sound card is working through DXDIAG. Adto sa audio tab, then naa didto mga test.

i don't think the audio cable is the issue here since for the past 3 PC's that I have it doesn't need the audio cable to produce a sound. right now i did not put my DVDRW audio cable on my Asus P5N32 SLi SE Deluxe mobo but i have sound on all the media that i play.

Yup agree sad ko ani. Usually dili najud need nga e install ang audio cable sa sound card and codecs rana daugon.

bitaw bro try this. then install codecs or if lisod ka pangita codecs, install VLC player bro, packed with necessary codecs na ni. k!!
