if you're still having a hard time speaking our dialect, speak English
and try not to insert any Tagalog word please

people from manila dont care if u speak tagalog there in manila...eh we dont know how to speak cheezy BISAYA so ala kayong magagawa anyways..TAGALOG is our NATIONAL LANGUAGE again if you dont know that one TAGALOG is our NATIONAL LANGUAGE...unless u feel so allienated here in the Philippines thats why BISAYA people dont wanna use TAGALOG!!!!!!!!!!! try to go to pampanga or ilocos and speak their dialect too then from then on you can say its not that easy though... so u better speak tagalog na lang ala na kayong magagwa but to accept it.... practice TAGALOG dude kasi kakahiya kayo pag dating nyo sa MANILA ahahahah kakatawa accent nyo and the pronunciation ..kaya tingin ng mga taga Luzon sa inyo eh

TAGALOG is never the national language of the Philippines, it is but the base of Filipino, which is our national language, a language still developing and which borrows words from all dialects and languages in the Philippines. And oh btw, It's only Region 4 and NCR that speak Tagalog as a mother language, way smaller to the scope of Cebuano/Bisaya speaking areas which covers majority of Visayas and Mindanao and even parts of Masbate.

@safecracker, While I have met many sensible Tagalogs, I hope your arrogance is in no way a confirmation of the perceived discrimination Tagalogs have for the regions.

And to people who believed that they can do nothing but speak Tagalog in Manila, you may want to speak your native tongue instead, there are a lot of Cebuano-speaking people in Manila

i agree - start learning the language. some cebuanos are very uncomfortable with speaking tagalog. :P
