By the way, when using Fipronil (Frontline), make sure your dog hasn't recently bathe, otherwise it will be ineffective.

@fortis: unsa? apply before bathing? or apply without bathing. wala ko ka gets. plano ko mag spot on na frontline gud.
both. recommended is that dog not to be bathe 2 days before and after application. It only becomes effective when the dog has its natural oil in its coat.

Yes. For fipronil (Frontline®) to be effective, it must be taken up in the sebaceous glands, which is only possible if the animal has its natural oil in its coat.Originally Posted by doki
Bathing clears away dirt, as well as dog's natural oil. Oil completely comes back after a day or two (longer during cold weather), uptake and complete spread of the active ingredient fipronil takes about 1-2 days. Stored fipronil is then re-released for a period of one month.
dont wet ur dog 2days before the application and then 2days after pud
