You can produce thin lines from 2B pencils if you sharp it often. The fact that it's a soft lead tend to make it blunt sooner than H pencils.. B pencils are good for shading (i think)

f is the standard pencil for me when sketching...

use whatever makes you comfortable. there are no rules in choosing your pencils. but generally soft pencils are more suitable for rough sketches.

for starters...your work is very nice....i really like it...


here's my advice:

keep on drawing (draw...draw...draw...draw...)

be familiar with your mediums (be comfortable with the materials you are using)

make your own style (critics will only put shackles on your creative mind)

love and enjoy what you are doing (you only got one shot in life...make it count)


note:
"criticism" may it be constructive or destructive is still "criticism"...the only thing they'll do is to make you feel bad about yourself and on what you are doing..."criticism " and "advice" are two different things...

yup you're right...but...

"to find fault" is another definition....

actually kanang "constructive" and "destructive"...it depends on how you take the criticism....

so...in essence...either way...it's still "criticism"
