    I got connected with meridian on May 11 which was my birthday hehe ,after they installed it like when the tech personnels left like 30 minutes after like d connection was lost then had to wait for hours b4 d connection was online again but they like called their office when they were installing mine like juz to see if it connects and when when i got a little action from it it got disconnected. We've been calling their office a lot of times. Sometimes we would have to wait 24hours b4 connection is back im located in Apas Lahug and i can see the receiever from here so its suppose to give me good connection. They also had change my radio, its been 3 times that their technical assistance went to my house plus the installation day and also connection is unstable coz its always disconnecting i was supposedly gonna showoff my meridian to my cousin like how cheap it is compare to his but now im not even mentioning how good it is coz it SUCKS. now i have another problem like my dsl icon always says its unplug i have 3 lan cards like i tried plugin d cabbles to each of them which are 2 different pc btw and it still says unplug so i assume its a problem in d cabble's or n d radio. As of now when i contact their office like they are saying that u have to call d smart toll free no. like i dont have a smart line so i really dont know what i would do. I already called their office like to disconnect their services like i already paid 998 plus the 500php installation fee like i have a free one month so i be disconnected nxt month pa. im switching to bayan tel or globelines for mydsl pldt like i heard their technical assistance also sucks.

    when i play counterstrike online the ping is most of d time unstable like it would go for 100+ ping then it again would reach about 500+ ping and a wapping 2000+ sometimes like it flactuates most of d time like its really unstable. its been 4 days in a row that i dont have connection with my meridian i was supposedly gonna disconnect my unlimited pacific internet account but i wont coz i'll juz disconnect it when my new dsl will be installed (no thanks to meridian).

    when i called their office like what i hear is like goto the cmd type ipconfig/all and etc. it did work once then the other reasons they gave is bcoz of some upgrades ,manila has problems ,ur radio is defective ,their is some configuration being change in our system. i should have listen to my mom when she said that this company might be a joke coz its still new. There is not a single day that i did'nt encounter disconnection from them and most of d time i have to wait for hours b4 connection is regain. as of now i'll just buy a smart sim card so that i can call their technical toll free number. As of now I have learn my lesson that quality is really important than just being cheap.

    @vincent: sorry about your problems, so far sa ako since katong na reset akong PoE box, I have a continuous connection what i do is call *1888/*2888 first kung about sa internet connection, pero kung ka blink na ang WLAN, tawag na ko sa local office kay ingon sila ilaha na daw na problema kay wala naka connect ang antenna padung sa base site, and yes the smart sim card is a big help, I have no qualms calling them anytime of the day basta the moment maputol ang connection....

    our internet was up today after ONE WEEK of downtime.
    was offline starting 3pm of May 16.
    called up *2888 on May 17 or thereabouts, and after 15-20 minutes of preliminary diagnostics, was put on hold for a looooong time I hanged up.
    called up local Meridian office, was told to call *2888, requested them to relay my complaint to Manila coz I'm not a Smart subscriber, was advised to look for a neighbor who is one.
    my kid called up *2888 last Saturday and after the usual diagnostics, was told there is an ongoing technical activity.
    I called up *2888 last night and after the same boring ritual was told there is an ongoing technical activity.

    this is our THIRD downtime incident lasting NO LESS than a week EACH incident.

    if there was indeed an ongoing technical activity, they should have told me the minute I called up. better still, they could have called affected subscribers before they even call up.

    unresolved support issues are left hanging. if you don't call, you don't get attention. if you don't call often, you get less attention.

    the next time you hear the alibi "there is an ongoing technical activity", take that to mean as: We sure don't know what's wrong with your connection, must be something technical..

    pa disconnect nako sa MERIDIAN oyyy. It really sucks. sige ko tawag sa ilang smart 1888 free tol. ingon to ang naka tubag na iyang i report sa CEBU na meridian para ayohon ang among DSL. ATAY ka ayo. Pag follow up nako the next day sa CEBU meridian wala sila naka recieve na message na ayohon ang DSL. THe internet sucks because its unstabble ang speed and the service too!!! osik osik lang ko!!!!!!!
