By 'personage' I mean being an individual. Being distinct and separate from others in body, soul, and conciousness. (sakto ba ako definition?)

Anyway, referring to the Godhead or Trinity, in your case, I mean God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are 3 diffirent individuals. They are separate and distinct like you and me.

That Jesus Christ is literally God the Father's son and not just a 'version' of Himself in the flesh. He acts under the Father's direction. He is the mediator between God the Father and man through the Atonement. His role is to save us from our sins through the Atonement and pave the way to help us return to the Father's presence.

That the Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. He is not Jesus Christ nor God the Father in the spirit, but he is a divine individual whose role is a messenger, testifier, one who manifests to men that Jesus is the Christ and that we are all God's children, and that Jesus Christ is the only way to return to our Father's presence.

That God the Father is the supreme and highest member of the Godhead. He is the supreme God. Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost acts under His direction. He doesn't take the form of Jesus Christ nor the Holy Ghost, never have and never will because He is distinct as Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are distinct. He loves us because we are His children and His whole plan of salvation is to help us to return to His presence through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

On a personal note, I don't think this is one big mystery. It's plain and simple. God did not intend this to be mysterious to us. He wants us to love Him. How can we love Him if we don't know Him?

I'm guessing, perhaps, this answers your question, "Why Jesus calls Himself 'son of man'?" The reason He calls Himself the "son of man" is because, God is also a man.

I feel I owe you what my personal belief is, and I have posted it on reply # 238, page 10, of the thread "What is the 'Ten Commandments?'". Yes, it's not the same as the Godhead but, in my mind, I can link our beliefs. The link between our beliefs is that of God being also a man. I think, we can at least agree that God is a man in the case of Jesus.

Regarding mystery, I agree with you that God would probably not want to confound us if he wants to reveal Himself to us. Your point of not being able to love someone you don't know is an excellent one. :mrgreen:

Time frame? Where in tarnation you get this idea of time frame? Bible is the oldest piece of history... it didn't change but people's interpretations. I think you should understand the bible first... because knowing is total different from understanding.

I don't think this country will ever forge any friendship from the neighboring nations. Palestinians are their worst enemy. Their quarrel dated long when "israel" is encroaching land everytime they send troops. It's not prophesied but their conflict is real... there is not one person close in the middle east that is good friends with.

What I said about "the chosen people" was a simplistic idea written by writers of the bible. If God, was truly devine and powerful, he shouldn't said "the chosen people" in the first palce. So, what makes you... your parents... your wife (if married)... your neighbors should be? Outcasts?

Israel will never be at peace for as long as there are muslims hates them. Was it Netanyaho or Sharon (Israeli Prime Minister) was assassinated due to his action of forging a peace treaty with PLO? well, there goes the direction in which the Bible speaks of long time ago that Israel will get tired eventually and will forge peace with the Arab nations and you know what will happen next?.......... read the Bible it's all there.

Haven't you wonder why that chosen nation, chosen race of GOD the Israelites of Israel is very sufficient as a nation? they are surrounded by Arab neighbors, dessert lands and the dead sea. and why is it that Israel produce their own crops sufficiently that they export them, they have sufficient water supply potable at that while their neighbors land are dry and barren? has Israel been like its arab neighbors, por bida patay cla, all their arab neighbors have to do is block all entry point of shipment to Israel for food and water and surely Israel will die a slow death of starvation.

But the GOD of Israel is an awesome GOD. for heaven and earth will pass away but HIS word will not pass away.
