In his second game with Coca-Cola, Asi Taulava finished with 26 points and 24 rebounds as the Tigers finally ended it's franchise worst 8 game losing streak by beating the Sta. Lucia Realtors 94-79.

Taulava got all the help that he needed from Mark Telan, who finished with 23 points, and former Sta. Lucia Realtor Kenneth Duremdes who finished with 15. Kelly Williams led the way for Sta. Lucia with team high 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds but his efforts were overshadowed by the 6'9 behemoth. Former Coca-Cola Tigers Joseph Yeo added 13 points for Sta. Lucia.

In his 2 games so far with the Tigers, Taulava averaged 29.5 points and 20.5 rebounds. Taulava was just 2 rebounds short of matching his career high of 26 rebounds set on March 26, 2003 against the now defunct Shell.

Taulava was 5 rebounds short of matching the All-time PBA record for most rebounds grabbed in a game by a local player held by Marcelo Simbulan on June 3, 1975, the PBA's inaugural season.
