Magnolia handed Purefoods it's second loss of the season and it's worst loss since losing to the Talk 'N Text PhonePals 78-102 during the Game 3 of last season's Philippine Cup. The Beverage Masters led by as much as 38 points (101-63) in a game where they took control from start to finish. Danny Seigle scored 15 of his 18 points in the first half while Chris Calaguio finished with game high 22 points. Stalwarts Lordy Tugade and Dondon Hontiveros even only scored 6 and 5 points respectively.

Chico Lanete led Purefoods with 19 points while James Yap was limited to only 17 points in 6/15 shooting.

Magnolia 96 - TNT 93. Lordy Tugade hit a buzzer beating triple to complete the emphatic come from behind win of Magnolia.

Magnolia was down by 24 big points during half time (29-53) but managed to regroup themselves in the second half and snatch the game away from TNT.

Best Player: Dondon Hontiveros with 26 pts and 6 rebounds. Dondon's 26 points all came in the second half.
