Mga bro naa mo idea unsaon pag unlock sa seagate na HDD? coz dili mn gud ma-unlock... due to security....
I have used MHDD na freeware over the net and used it.... it detected that the HDD is LOCKED and the security is high...

Naa mo idea?

Just curious...Pwede paki-explain ng mabuti? I mean, what makes HDD lock?

Is there any error message before and after or in the POST?

HDD LOCK at maximum security is part of the ATA standard implemented for hard drives, and this is set by the user himself in the BIOS setup, and this is saved in the service area of the platter which is not accessible to regular users.

Unfortunately, this locking renders the HDD unusable outside of the original PC where it was used, unless you know the password, or unless you have specialized equipment to unlock it.
