When I left the US about 4 months ago , the gas I use which is 92 octane would cost almost $ 5 a gallon . Try to compute that and labaw ang US ug 10 PHp sa gas diri sa Philippines . Its about cost of living , ibutang ta lang $1 = 44PHp , whats in it for you ? For me its a candy bar in the US and a full meal in the Philippines .
We are talking about regular gas.... which people use everyday....

and the price has been posted as of 11/20/07.... Its NOT 4 months ago PRICE.... please check the link again....

when you say you have to consider cost of living.....
It is right that the cost of gasoline in the US SHOULD BE HIGHER..... but why is it HIGHER here.... BASED on the PRICE posted 11/20/07
http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/dnav/pet/pet_pri_spt_s1_d.htm This is US Government DATA

OPEC has nothing to do with it... ITS THE STRONG PESO.... And its not bringing the price down AS IT SHOULD.

Right now regular gasoline is cheaper in New York and Singapore comapred to Cebu City.

LOLZ .... ang 95 Octane sa US is the equivalent of 92 Octane na gas sa Petron namely XCS . That is the price of XCS right ? Kay ug dili ambot diin ka gikan ana .

That is the whole point there cabron .... that price I gave you was 4 months ago ..... it could be worst now because its been about 2 years na puro price hike pod sa US , wala man lang naka even out or lower .

DIli lage higher diri ... did you compute it ? Ok cge di man ka ganahan beh atong gamiton ang price sa US 4 months ago preferably in the city of Las Vegas , atong i compare na lang ang price diri sa Pilipinas 4 months ago and ato tan-awon kinsay mas mahal pero liter .

Because if its 4 months ago , I can vouch for it being there using and buying the gas . There wouldnt be much of a big deal wihin a 4 month time frame , gaduwa duwa ra na sa sinsiyo na range .

I know that link , gibasa bitaw na . Now show and explain it to me why its cheaper to buy GAS in NY or SG and PI is jacking it up . After that I will STFU . Mind you every octane is in the dollar increment of difference .

For now sleep sa ko .... ciao .

Pila man ang $1 to peso pag 11/20/07

    ma compute na nimo.....

    1 US gallon = 3.785 liters.

    11/20/07

NewYork Price is $2.5075 per Gallon

    $2.5075 x 46 Pesos = 115.345 pesos per gallon. if in liters 115.345 / 3.785 = 30.48 pesos per liter.

Even if you ADD 12% VAT it will come out 34.xx its way cheaper than 44.xx per liter price in Cebu City

ajol... ayaw kabalaka kay diri sa usofA, walay undang ang taas sa gas price... regular price here already climbed to
$3.50 from just around $2.00 from last year and it keeps going up everyday and to think usofA has a lot of reserve
oils and produced its own oil... (oh few years ago pud diay regular price is only $1.xx something)

it is known na nga ang mga oil company is always putting the bill to consumer ... though oil crisis happens, they always
have gain millions of dollars of profits. (hahay... ngano wala man mass transit diri dah, kung naa jeepney diri, ga jeepney
    na lang pud ko)

    @ AJOL ....

if saying that on a posted date of 11/20/07 of a NY gas price na $ 2.50 hehehe .... that is a gas you dont want in your car . That is a price you are comparing to a very high quality gas in the Philippines . Ang i compare lage is OCTANE per OCTANE equivalency . Pangitaa ang presyo sa octane na 95 sa NY unya i compare na siya sa XCS 92 octane sa Cebu . Let me know .
