It was around 11pm of June 2, 2008 that I had my late dinner in Jollibee located near Immaculada.

As I was eating, ni kalit lang ug pop-up sa ako mind ang image sa ako Lola whom I regarded highly as an instrumental in my understanding of the world of Paranormal and whatever innate abilities that I have right now (e.g. Online Photo Reading, Tarot Reading, interested in Feng Shui, Remote Viewing, etc.). My feeling that time was that she was trying to tell me to visit my Lolo in Tacloban City then emotions of missing somebody overpowered me. Before man gud, I always visit my grandparents whenever there's a special occassion or during Christmas. So if you ask me, wala ko na hadlok when ni kalit ug pop-up sa ako mind ang image sa ako Lola. I know she has that ability too. It is my attitude to visit them as often as possible because I know they will soon leave the physical plane.

So yon, I texted my brother on that same night kung when ang birthday ni Lolo because I'm not good in remembering sa mga date of births. I got his reply the following day nga it's on June 8 (Sunday). At first wala ko ni tuo dayon, so I texted my Aunt in Tacloban and got the same reply. So I texted all of them back home in Ormoc and Tacloban and said "Mao diay ni kalit lang ug pop-up sa ako mind ang image ni Lola when I had my late dinner last night and she was trying to tell me to visit Lolo. So what's the plan this coming June 8 for his birthday?"

My Aunt replied na their plan is to accompany Lolo in attending a mass because it's his birthday and aside from that June 8 is the feast of the Sacred Heart. I told her nga offer also a mass to Lola and I'm leaving for Ormoc on Saturday night (June 7, 200 and proceed to Tacloban City to celebrate his birthday. My grandma passed away in August of 2007. Her passing was already predicted when I met a fellow Tarot Reader here in Cebu who was introduced to me. I informed the rest of the family years ago of what was about to come.

In our family man gud, let's say ako ang ni sunod ni Lola by passing her daughters (my mom and aunts). Though it's not a big deal in our family but they knew that I can do some stuffs.

I know others treat spirits generally as evil. That's your stand but for myself being an open-minded person it is understanding of what is beyond human knowledge (or faculties) where Science and Religion cannot explain. For them it is always a taboo to talk to spirits (the people who passed away), I'm not talking about the elementals or the evil spirits.

Spirit is the part of a human associated with the mind, will, and feelings.

For example, if you have a deceased relative and wanted to communicate with the living? Will you close that link to the spirit world? If we are dead and become spirit like them, do you want to communicate to your loved ones? Things that you want them to know? Like where you placed the key of your car?

I want to revive this thread and hope others can share their experiences in "Communicating with the Spirits"

Nag pa ramdam ba imo mga dead relatives?

Communicating with spirits... hmmmm! dakop kag butterfly then whisper ka sa imung isulte sa butterfly para iyang isulte sa spirit then ilabay ang butterfly sa hangin then the butterfly will whisper the great spirits...

I've learned it from Roco Sillano a famed magician before our time maybe not so long ago... Haven't tried it yet pero I think it makes sense...hahaha!

Saturday, June 7 of 2008.


I arrived here in Ormoc City around 4AM. First thing I did is to check my email at home and read some posts here in istorya.net

The reason why I want to post again is to continue with my experience on the subject about "Communicating with Spirits." To recap, read my previous post.

(Rewind)

The boat (Roble Shipping) is about to dock at the port of Ormoc City, so I went downstairs with my 3rd brother and positioned ourselves near the exit door. I stayed for awhile in the staircase and after some minutes we moved closer to the exit door. When I looked up I saw a butterfly near the flourescent, just near where my brother was standing. Strange at first because I cannot imagine a butterfly inside the boat? All I'm aware of are rats and cockroaches if you talk about other insects!

So I signalled to my 3rd brother and said "Look!" Told him that it must be our Lola. It's hard to dismiss this as a mere coincidence because this is not my first time.

It was early morning of August of 2007 when I received a text message from my Aunt informing me that my grandma already passed away and say our own little prayers. I replied to her right away because I was already awake at that time and said "She died around 3AM?" She wondered and asked, "How did you know?" and I replied "I was already awake at that time" Right there and then I knew that her spirit will visit me in Cebu hours after and I was right when I took my breakfast near my boarding house. Yes, I saw a butterfly near my table. I knew then that it was my grandma. In my mind I said "Thank you Lola for visiting me here in Cebu."

I know that we have this belief that if somebody dies in our family, a buttefly will appear out of nowhere. This is the same story that I want to share here.

The buttefly is a powerful symbol of transformation. A symbol of change and joy. Change and transformation are inevitable for us all, but it does not have to be traumatic. Butterfly symbolism is also closely tied to the idea of spirits and souls. It has been used in many religions and cultures.

I know wherever she is right now, she will be smiling upon us. Especially that I'm here now in Ormoc and will proceed to Tacloban City to visit my grandpa for his birthday on June 8, 2008 (Sunday). It's the feast day of the Sacred Heart as well.
