ok let's take this one by one...

for the REFEREE's <--- all I can say is hadlok sila sa mga Gullas' especially if they are officiating their games and most of all a finals series...d lang na karon nahitabo, it's been existing for years not only in cesafi but caaa.....

ok let's exempt what happened to their series against usjr, since they were awaken from their daydream that they are invincible (which I think they are if they play the right way!)

coach boy cabahug < --- sakto si bro thadz, let's cite a scenario, what if Mike Reyes/Jay Ramirez coach UV then Boy Cabs USC...would it be the same result for USC? i don't think so! katong game1, look at what happened, c Llanete gi man2man ni Joven nya iyang gipadala sa bola s Mepana or laing big men niya trying to be a PG or SG....asa naman diya iyang Shooting guards? natulog sa pancitan? hehehehehe....... you may say Mepana took the interim role as ball handler well since he was able to bring the ball past midcourt, but what happens next? ibalik niya ka Llanete? pila naman ang nakuha sa ilang oras? mao ng magdali2 sila.....kung wala pa c Al Solis sa iyang bench, mangahoy nalang na sila.....saonz nalang!
Referees --> I don't think so. Why should they fear Gullas if their officiating the game fairly?

What USC ployed against UV in the finals was almost exactly what USJ-R did in the semifinals, and that is too apply pressure on UV's guards. UV's big men are helpless once they're guards are not doing well and especially when they're out of the paint. USC and UV outran UV in their respective series. USJ-R's guards and USC's shooters were the ones who did most of the damage. That's exactly my point that no matter how strong UV might look, they still have their own flaws. It's the ingenuity of the other team's coach (hats off to Edito Salacut and Jay Ramirez for this one) for figuring out UV's puzzle but that doesn't mean that Boy Cabahug is not a good one. After all, he's the mind behind UV's great success, and of course, with a great help coming from very deep and reliable talents.

d lang ko divulge sa reason regarding referees lisod na....

about coach boy cabs, d gihapon ko convinced sa gipakita sa iyang agi...im not hypocrite to say nga dli impressive ang 7 straight championship but he could have done more...just refer to the previous CCL.....or national games......mailhan jud nimo ang kalidad sa coach....remember coach boy didn't have any experience in coaching prior UV....

^^Because other teams from Luzon might be too strong for UV. Maski siguro UV ang ipadala didto with Jay Ramirez maglisod gihapon. Luzon teams have greater exposure than Visayan teams, plus Luzon teams are used to much stiffer competition compared to UV. Not to put down other teams but CeSAFI teams has not given UV a lot of challenge until last season, siguro we can expect that to change now especially that napukaw na na sila sa nahitabo, and even feel they're lucky enough to even win their 7th straight title.

Siguro I could say that Boy Cabahug is not the best coach in Cebu, but being a bad coach would be an understatement.

Taas lang siguro kaayo siya ug salig sa iyang mga players, especially sa mga veterans sa UV. Now that Mepaña, Berame, and Luga are gone from UV, makita na siguro nato unsa iyang mabuhat. Actually, in game 2 sa finals against USC, niinit iyang ulo when USC went on to jump over UV in the first half, labaw ug 18 or 20 points siguro to. He went straight to the referee complaining about a non-call.

Basically, UV is starting over and they're not getting any better since Quiñahan left. Not unless if they can develop Greg Slaughter, basin maglisod na ni sila against other teams. Other teams are getting a lot bigger and for sure can now give UV a lot better competition.

But, USC, 6'2 gihapon ang center.
