There will be a lot of questionable calls in a game, even very biased and bad calls, and especially championship games like that. Since it's expected in a game, the players, the coaching staff, and the team as a whole must not lose it's composure and their focus in the game.

UV and USC is slowly starting to become bitter basketball rivals here down south. If such accusations is indeed true, then USC can raise it up as a good ground for protest. After all, no team can win against the referees.
UV deserves all the championships they earned from the existence of CESAFI since they have the superior talent....it ONLY saddens me to see them not playing to its full potential...I was expecting for them to show no mercy, complacency against USC....kung sa binisaya lubngon jud kung naay oppurtunity nga malubong ang kontra.....unsaon ta man d man kamao modala ilang coach to maximize sa talent nga naa niya....

talent? oh yes, overflowing na sa UV..question is are they playing within the league rules..take the case of Luga, iya mismo manager niingon nga that time gaduwa pa siya CBF, he was 23 years old as shown sa bank records kay para sa ila sweldo..that was 5 years ago before the CBF disbanded..last year pila gane edad ni Luga nga giregister? 24? tsk tsk...while kani kang Luga wala ma protestahan, we very well know, naa jud history ang UV sa pagpanikas sa edad..remember Juripy Balague? sus, gi suspend ra jud tawon, gi ban pa lang unta to para matagam na sila..

First of all, take note that what I pinpointed was a title, and not titles, thus, I never said that they don't deserve all the titles they won. This discussion is just getting a lot vague, which is which ba gyud? The referees? UV playing along with the teams? Or the coaches incompetence?

Let's take it one by one:

Referees -- If the accusations are true (as you have stated), then wa na ta mahimo ana. If the referees will decide to side with USC next time, no matter how strong UV is, di gyud na sila kadaog. But still, we need proof.

UV playing with other teams -- I don't think so. I've seen the UV-USJ-R series as well as some of the UV-USC finals games. Just because UV is a 6 time defending champion and is a lot stronger on paper doesn't mean they're invincible. And if we think that UV is still as strong as they are with Neil Rañeses, JR Quiñahan, and Mark Ababon, we're wrong. And other than that, no matter how good their individual players are if the other team is playing as one, lisod gihapon. USJ-R and USC plays a lot better team basketball than UV recently, though, individually, mas maayo gyud ang players sa UV.

Coaches di kabalo modala -- I believe Boy Cabahug is the most highly decorated coach in Cebu collegiate basketball.

hmmm..I think swerte sad si Boy Cabahug with the kind of lineup UV has year in and year out...but Id say Mike Reyes is the better coach, Ive seen him do his coaching..impressive...you see, USC does not have the strongest lineup sa CESAFI siguro good for 3rd or 4th best lang, on paper mas lig-on ang USJR and UC, but in the cesafi elims last season, 6-1 ang USC sharing top spot with UV

That's actually what people has been saying, USC has the best basketball program in Cebu. All they need are good players (with some exception) and scouts. I believe USC can do and afford more than this current line-up. No offense meant, but I think daghan ug kinahanglan tangtangon sa team and replace them.

I nominate Thadz for USC's official scout...

ok let's take this one by one...

for the REFEREE's <--- all I can say is hadlok sila sa mga Gullas' especially if they are officiating their games and most of all a finals series...d lang na karon nahitabo, it's been existing for years not only in cesafi but caaa.....

ok let's exempt what happened to their series against usjr, since they were awaken from their daydream that they are invincible (which I think they are if they play the right way!)

coach boy cabahug < --- sakto si bro thadz, let's cite a scenario, what if Mike Reyes/Jay Ramirez coach UV then Boy Cabs USC...would it be the same result for USC? i don't think so! katong game1, look at what happened, c Llanete gi man2man ni Joven nya iyang gipadala sa bola s Mepana or laing big men niya trying to be a PG or SG....asa naman diya iyang Shooting guards? natulog sa pancitan? hehehehehe....... you may say Mepana took the interim role as ball handler well since he was able to bring the ball past midcourt, but what happens next? ibalik niya ka Llanete? pila naman ang nakuha sa ilang oras? mao ng magdali2 sila.....kung wala pa c Al Solis sa iyang bench, mangahoy nalang na sila.....saonz nalang!

sakto jud ka bro....they are dubious in fielding players especially its eligibility...it's not ONLY how old they are but the biggest question is how long have been they are enrolled in college...the rule states every bball player is entitled of 7years of college eligibility, 2yrs can be used for "red-shirt" or undertrainee status as what most of the peeps know..5yrs will be "actively" playing or part of the roster, it's either ur a starter or the last man on the team....just like what heppened to Nino, he was able to maximize all his 5 playing years in the league!
