... and sa tanan thread nga malagpot sa "poser" discussion, I always say the same thing.. PASAGDIHI nalang. Kay ngano pakialaman pa man gyud? What for?

Some of us here are just playing it safe, nganu pinasulti paman kaayu ug "bati manawag ug poser" dere ug tuod diay naay pa silay panahon magbutang sa ilang lista sa "name as many poser bands/artists as you can" thread... Hypocrites in the hypocriSCENE - that is the answer for your question "what for".

Kung naka dere bai ezra and observing the dudes involved then you'll understand what im talking about..they play it safe, pa-buutan2x para ingnun humble pero sa tinud-anay kusug diay kaayu mandaut..

Again - like I said, WHAT FOR? What do you get from it? Satisfaction? Just cause you've proven that you're a pure music enthusiast and not just looking like one for the sake of recognition and to feel "belong".

I agree that there are posers out there. People who act and look differently from what and who they really are. Pero it seems useless to pay attention to these kinda thiings. Ako ug pangutan-on ko kung who I think is a real poser, I can name names - for one: I'd say PIOLO PASCUAL. Pero I don't do anything about it - we all know he's a poser and he probably knows it himself.. but I don't think he's samok. I just do what I always do - NOT LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC. I leave him alone and that's that.

Everybody can drop names on who he thinks is a poser but what if he was misjudging the dude. And at that point right there would you think that is being fair? where's justice on the "poser" dude's part if he was misjudged? where's the leave them alone part of it?..Away / lalis nasad?

Thats what's happening in the scene right now, havent you noticed sa mga nag-away sa some of the threads here? they are the same dudes who are part of the same scene. Nagsugod rana tanan sa gagmayng sturya nya gpadaku.. Calling somebody poser, trying hard, himuan sturya whatever labina kung mag-tapok2x sa mga kaila pero kung mag-atubang sila sa ilang gitirahan perteng maayuha sa tagad, pina-apir pa kaayu.. lol

Thats the main reason ako silang gibaraw not because i want to prove to everybody im a music chuva whatver ek-ek wiki-musician.
Hypocrites in a hypocriscene. Ive been a victim of it with love notes like "ima beat you up" or "you're a sellout" notes attached..

I did not contradict myself... there are people that are pin-ups for the word "POSER" ... an obvious example - like I said - is PIOLO. Would you disagree? Do you think I misjudged him? But then again, It doesn't bother me and I don't bother the guy.

Do you see me bothering him? People judge people, that's an absolute fact. People will always have their opinions about someone else. But judging people doesn't mean that you hate them.. and it certainly does not lead to closedmindedness. And if you act upon your hatred - that's when it's wrong. Like I said, it's better to leave them alone.

You're so involved with the scene. Do you know that being so involved in once scene makes you closeminded and oblivious to anything else that's around you? Music has so much to offer, and for one to be enclosed in one scene deprives himself from everything else. Get your mindset off the "SCENE" scenario. That's just another means to seggregate people from everyone else.

No matter how you put it bai ... you still have that elitist state of mind. You had that before and you still have it now. Sooner or later you'll grow out of it. But at the moment, you still act so aloof and high-and-mighty. You have the urge to preach what you think is right. As if it's your responsibility to cleanse the people in your scene. Igka dugayan, you'll realize that your efforts are futile. Kids will always be like that - it's part of growing up.. to search for your identity.

im with you on the lack of originality these days! hahaha....but i think the media has a lot to do with how crapy things are as of the moment (although daghan sad maayu na sikat)...mao man gud cge patukar sa radio, sa myx, sa mtv....most of the kids now a days think na what the big corporation shows them is cool na...i think not everyone has the luxury of discovering quality music, most of them are just victims of corporate misguiding...

This is a good point i give you that if everybody thinks like a logical constructive critic rather than a hateful basher. right? But as what ive said bai some or most of the dudes posting are the "spoonfeed para makasabot" typos and most of them are the haters.. You go ask them your question again "for what?" because honestly i dont know see a point why they bash somebody with hateful comments, whats the point wasting time and energy on somebody you know nothing about.. right? why the hate?..
I may act like an elitist sometimes, pardon me for that but at least i dont bash somebody through false facts or his musical reference or from some gossip etc, if i see something wrong about the dude i just shut it up and let him be the judge for himself.. And thats way too far from being self righteous like most of the haters do while at they same time they play it safe.
And oh for the record, i dont care about the scene anymore.. Im more concerned on my friends involved in it, im the voice when they are on their backs..i guess you know what that means..
