If you have the money... try the DUAL 2.7 GHz G5. It's considered to be latest desktop supercomputer.
Dual 2.7GHz systems also include an innovative closed-loop liquid cooling system that draws away heat quietly and efficiently so no need to worry about those heat burning problem.
Good luck!
Better go with the PC.
MAC has many software and game compatibility issues.
If your not a hardcore Overclocker or gamer, then MAC will just be fine for your computing needs.
ya i agree but if ur into workstation set up better choose dual 2.2ghz G5 much faster than xeon and opteron
dulcepixels@: yup,.... coz i'v tried da dual 2.7Ghz with da 30" widescreen LCD,...and itz hella,.... but i dint try playing gamez on it yet,... but for a 3,000 system it better be off da hook,.... i also saw da cooling system inside,... when u take off da side panel there'z still a clear glass dat covers it and u can see da G5 sign in da middle of da glass,.....
but yeah,..... the cooling system they have on it,... is tight,..... like 5 or 6 fans,.. im not sure though....
brown_dog@ i dont know if im a hardcore gamer,....... but i do play games alot, PC or console,....
but from wat i heard and wat "celeron" said,..... installing windows on a Mac and play games using windows...... will be alil bit slow,....
this has been clarified but im not sure w/c windows they used,...
was it:
windows XP 32bit or windows XP 64 bit
datz why im here asking u guys if i should just built a 64bit system,..... or buy G5 and install windows XP 64bit
im a hardcore windows user,.... but when i tried da G5,... i was just speechless,...
i dont know,... im just thinkin' bout getting da best of both worldz,....
