Samigue Eman just had his best performance so far in the PBA. Eman was perfect from both the field and in the stripe and finished with career high 16 points and added 5 rebounds and conference high 5 blocks in Magnolia's thriller win over the Alaska Aces. Eman even outplayed Alaska's own rookie big man Ken Bono and even outshined Magnolia's well established big men Danny Ildefonso and Enrico Villanueva.

Hmmm.. murag sinyales na ni ni Eman da. :mrgreen:.

Great game by Willie Miller though. Miller finshed with game high 28 points and hit 4 triples in the last 1:52. Alaska just fell short after Lordy Tugade showcased his heroics to save the Beverage Masters.

Purefoods remained unbeaten after James Yap bailed them out once again after hitting a crucial jumper in the dying seconds of the game over the Coca-Cola Tigers. Purefoods went up to 6-0, their best start ever since 1988, a Purefoods team that had PBA greats Alvin Patrimonio, Jerry Codiñera, Jojo Lastimosa, Freddie Hubalde and the legendary Ramon Fernandez. Purefoods lost a 17 point lead after the Tigers went on a 17-0 run capped by Alex Cabagnot's triple before Yap hit the winning shot.
