as for me i believe n God cuz since i knew him with the help of my parents,,

Very strong message brother!

An FMA Master gave an essay few days ago. Here's what he wrote:

"I was a hardcore evangelical Christian for several years. As a matter of fact, I gave up several years of my short life to serve as a missionary. My expereince never gave me any clear solid answers, just more questions. All I got were pat answers, empty promises, myopic views, and a moral & working ethic which was FAR BELOW the standards of the so-called "secular" companies most missionary groups condemn as "worldly." To top it all off, our organization which supposed to be inter-denominational was run and staffed by mostly hardcore pentecostals. If anybody has had any form of interacton with the type... you'd know... everything is "up in the air"... resulting in an impractical view of the world. Case in point: In a slum area, when asked what you see, they answer... Demons ( not poverty or education or lack of access to medical services, etc.). When asked what to do about it the answer would be... Pray (not education or income generation or free medical services or whatever). And they end up doing nothing but that. In other words, religion per se does not effect true change. As a matter of fact, it is more like Socrates cave.

So now I consider myself an agnostic. There is a God, but he is not who religions say he is. Each religion may have a partial understanding of the eternal, but not a full picture of it. So all religions are both valid and not to some degree."

What has this got to do with the discussion? Well, religious zeal often leads to the concept of Manifest Destiny which has been widely used through the ages as an excuse to enslave others. And since the "Spiritual" has always appealed to mankind through the ages, this concept and their belief in it is used to trick people into supporting a particular policy which in reality reeks of nothing but imperialist geo-economic-political self interests.
