instead of that net limiter, use TRAFFIC SHAPER XP.


you dont need to install on the other workstations and can be easily disabled or removed like netlimiter but rather on the server only, and manage the flow of bandwidth on that workstation in your LAN. so they will never know =)


and the best part is, its freeware.


but if it will be applied to an internet cafe, limiting the bandwidth is not so advisable specially when you are going to segregate equally like for example a 2mbps speed into 20 workstations, 100kbps per workstation, thats too crawly. unless if you have at least 5mbps for 20 workstations thats quite tolerable. but if havent, just block the domain. there are routers that have domain filtering capabilities out there like the TP-Link I am using here. I can block any streaming website i want easily like the MOD EDIT: <snip> Leave the porn out of this discussion please. which is very know nowadays.^^
